Who wore it better (3)

This is my third 'whole wore it better' post but this time we're gonna changed it up a little bit. This time, two celebrity sisters are battling it out to find out who wore the white blazer. Drum roll please... Khloe and Kim Kardashion! Who wore it better? Let the battle commence!
Kimmy K is wearing this boyfriend blazer and black leggings. First of all, great combination. Black and white are complete opposites but when merged, it look awesome! The silver top's neck line is a bit low but it goes wit the white blazer. Her black shoes look great against the white. Her accessories are awesome. Wearing her oversized sunglasses don't take over because her hair is scrapped into a tight bun and her bag is black so it looks great. Her make up is light so her outfit takes over (good thing). So well done Kim.




Now, Khloe Kardashion. She has buttoned her blazer but it still lookes amazing. Using her sister's idea, she is wearing black with white. She did it and she did it well. Wearing distressed jean and black boots, Khloe knows her stuff about fashion. The sisters wore similar accessories. Oversived glasses and black bag. Her hair is tightly scrapped back so her outfit does the talking.

So who wore it better? Well in my opinion, it was... Khloe but Kim did exceptionally well too.

 

Wardrobe Classics

The wardrobe classics are garments that I think every girl should have in their wardrobe. They are a white shirt and a little black dress . These are must haves for every girl. So you're wondering, I've got everything, but how am I supposed to wear them? All will be revealed here.

White Shirt:
A white shirt is one of the easiest garments to wear and appear fabulous. It can be casual and smart. To appear casual, wear a classic white shirt and jeans with converses and scrape your your hair into a tight ponytail and there you are. This look will look especially nice on girls with sharp cheekbones but don't worry if you don't. Just add a pair of earrings or a pendant to give the look the extra umph. Another casual look is to roll up the sleeves and wear denim shorts. Voila! You are rocking the casual look. What to appear more smart? Wear a white shirt and blue jeans and tuck in the white shirt into the jeans. Wanna be more adventurous? Wear a coloured blazer to wrap up the look.

Little Black Dress:
A little black dress may seem plain when you bought it but it can go a long way with a little help. But first do you have the right black dress? For day parties, lunches or events, wear a black shift that has a slashed neck line and doesn't hug your figure. I would go with a dress that dropped below the knee for the day. For evenings, the dress should hug your figure and should have straps that are thin. It should end at the neck but if you want it can be higher but remember the message you are sending to people. To liven up the outfit, wear bright jewellery and bright nail polish and if you feel more daring, wear coloured tights.

Get the Look: Kim Kardashion

Today, I will be analysing the outfits of a celebrity wearing a gorgeous outfit. Here is how you get the look.

 Kimmy K (Kim Kardashion). As you can see, she is wearing a coloured blazer with black skinny jeans and a black top, with stiletto heels. As she is on a casual outing, she is not wearing any accessories. Wondering how you can get the Kimmy look? Wonder no longer.

First you need a coloured blazer that fit you perfectly. Don't worry if you don't have one. Just wear a coloured cardigan instead. Next you need a black t-shirt. All girls MUST have a black t-shirt or camisole so that shouldn't be a problem. Now you need black skinny/ straight jeans. In the picture, Kim is wearing stiletto heels but I doubt you would want to wear stilettos on a casual outing so instead, wear some cute converses!

Trend: Denim Shorts

Denim has been popular since the 1950s but did you know that denim was still in style in the 21st century? I personally love denim shorts because it looks stylish and casual!

Denim shorts are great for casual outings or lounging around at home. There are different ways to wear denim shorts, depending on your body type. But sometimes people wear denim shorts in the wrong way. Do you wear your denim shorts right? Find out here.

First of all, you need to find out your body type before you buy your shorts. Are you more curvy on the bottom half or are you more straight? If you are curvy, your shorts need to end at a more flattering part of your body. That's either just above the knees but if you have fabulous legs and you want the rock n' roll look, a little bit higher, but not to high 'cause then you might be sending out the wrong message. I would go with just above the knee. Also, don't go with shorts with too much detailing. If you are particularly curvy on the backside (bum) avoid stitching at the pockets if the pockets are located at the back. Make sure you keep it simple but sleek.
Also look for shorts that have more stretch in them if you are more curvy at the bottom half. The point is that it looks good on the hips and bottom but is also comfortable.

If you are straight on the bottom half, you can go for as much detailing as you want on your denim shorts. Also, you can do for much stiffer shorts than the curvy ones can. The length of the shorts is up to you but remember the message that the length says.

You can wear shorts at any time of the year but it makes more sense to wear them in the summer or late spring. If you want to wear denim short during the winter/ autumn, thrown some opaque tights and ankle boots. For the top, wear something that is not longer than the shorts itself to even the look out. The summer/spring, wear it with flip flops and a tank top and say hello to the beach.

Style Files: Beyonce

Beyonce Knowles is one of the many fashionistas of the fashion world. Here I am taking a few of my fave outfits and describing them one by one.

Here she is wearing a long black dress with long sleeves and a turtle neck. Minimum accessories. Hair scrapped back so the dress does the talking. Light makeup. Do I need to continue?









Next, Beyonce is wearing another black dress but this time is shorter to expose her long legs. Same long sleeves but this time the dress has a plunging neckline. Her hair is let down but is not over her face. Her makeup is slightly darker but still looks natural.







Beyonce is not on the red carpet this time but this red outfit is gorgeous! You can see her curves clearly in this figure hugging outfit. Clutch bag in hand, she looks amazing. Her hair is let down but, again, it doesn't stray to her face.














Beyonce Knowles is looks amazing in all three outfits, yet they are so different.

Who wore it better (2)

Celebrities can afford anything they want and still there is the odd moment when two celeb are wearing EXACTLY the same thing! In this case it is a Diane von Furstenberg maxi dress. Guess who? JLo and -drumroll please- Kourtney K. Let the judging begin!

Jennifer Lopez has a very sharp collar bone and her shoulder blades are exposed. I don't now if it is a good thing or a bad thing in this case.
Her curves are barely visable in this dress and it doesn't help that the dress is not figure hugging. She isn't wearing too much acessories but that's a good thing for this outfit. Her sparkly clutch bag, so hooped earrings and a few bangles are all she needs to let the outfit do the talking. Her hair isn't all over her face, it is neatly behind her ears. She has applied her makeup very lightly so her face will glow but still oozes the naturasl look.

On the other hand, Kourtney Kardashion has a very obvious figure in this outfit and she is letting the whole world know. Like Lopez, she has hasn't overdone her make up so it still looks natural. Her only acessory is a few bangle so, again, her outfit does the talking. Her hair is in her face a little but not enough to hide her glowing skin.

But who wore it better?
In my opinion it was...Kourtney but JLo comes a close second.

Trends for autumn: Jumpsuits

This year, everyone is wearing jumpsuits. On the catwalk, even on the streets. It's practical and it's chic AND it doesn't cost much, so everyone can wear them. Check them out.

Jumpsuits are the comfiest garments I have ever worn. They are perfect for every activity in your busy schedule. Going shopping and you don't feel like dressing up much? Throw on a jumpsuit and you're comfy AND stylish at the same time! Hanging out with mates and you don't know what to wear? Worry no longer! It keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. You can find jumpsuits in local stores like Matalan or Macy's.

You wear jumpsuits with minimum accessories so that the jumpsuit will take over. But a few gold bangles and sandals are perfect!

Celebrities love jumpsuits. Check out Kim K in her leopard inspired jumpsuit. With just a clutch bag to accessorise, the jumpsuit steals the show. As you can see, Kim is wearing this jumpsuit on the red carpet. But she was spotted wearing a different jumpsuit while she was out. Check it out.

This time she was wearing a zebra inspired jumpsuit (she seems very fond of animals!) with a bright yellow belt as well as sandals. Her hair is scraped back for a casual look unlike her red carpet look when her hair fell down over her shoulders. Still her look is amazing. Same garment, two different looks.

Jumpsuits are as seen on the catwalk. Below is a picture. The jumpsuit is plain grey. Accessories: A little clutch bag and a necklace. Do I need to continue?
